OCLC Connexion Client:  Controlling Headings Commands

Introduction

This quick-reference list represents a selection of commands used when controlling bib record headings in the OCLC Connexion Client -- having the system match bib record headings to authority record headings and link them when possible.   It covers controlling and uncontrolling a single heading at a time or all headings in the bib record.

For each one, multiple approaches are given:

• Menu:  the sequence of menu selections that lead to that command
• Icon or symbol:  the toolbar icon (when present in the default toolbar)
• Keyboard shortcut:  key combinations or function keys that perform the command
